Poonam is a former high school teacher and a former consultant for the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing. She trains teachers in Time To Teach classroom management.

Poonam Bedi has served in education as a classroom teacher, a state department consultant, and now a certified trainer. In each of those roles, she has worked to support her fellow educators.
She is a former high school teacher and holds a California Single Subject Clear Teaching Credential. She later worked as a consultant for the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing, and she is available to support educator preparation programs.
With so many distractions around students, Poonam sees impactful teaching as more necessary than ever. She works to give educators structured routines and effective classroom management, which give them back the time to teach and build a meaningful foundation for instruction. As a Time To Teach trainer, she brings that training to K-12 schools and districts.
Poonam holds an M.A. in Education from the University of California, Davis and a B.A. in History, with a minor in education, from the University of California, Berkeley.
